Join us in our passion by helping the elephants

By donating to our foundation you will be fully supporting the elephants of Somboon Legacy foundation in Thailand. Any amount, big or small, will make a difference and is highly appreciated.

Somboon Legacy Foundation is a non-profit organization with no funding from the Thai government. They are solely dependent on donations and funds generated among others by visiting guests.

Donations help provide a healthy and excellent environment for the elephants and supports the local community by buying local products for the elephants.

Your donation money will be spent on:

All sorts of food like grass and fruits
Medicines
Pellet elephant food (pellet food is made especially for (old) elephants and will help them get all the minerals and vitamins they need)
Veterinarian costs
Mahout salaries (caretaker)

We are a registered foundation since 2010 under Dutch law (Chamber of commerce register number 01182015)

We are an approved foundation (ANBI) since 2012 by the Dutch Tax authorities as a Public Benefit Organization.

Natural and legal persons who donate to our foundation can deduct their gifts from their Dutch income tax or corporate income tax. Residents and companies of other countries will have to check with their local tax authorities whether or not their donation can be deducted.
