We are a Dutch foundation established in January 2010. Our goal is to raise funds in order to support the ethical care of Asian elephants. We fight against using elephants for entertainment in the tourist industry. They should never have to feel stressed again.
Since 2019, we focus on supporting Somboon Legacy Foundation, located 25 km outside the city of Kanchanaburi in Thailand.
This unique non-profit hands-off sanctuary was established in 2019. Here the elephants walk freely in nature, grazing as they would in the wild, foraging on greens in the lush tropical environment. They are not forced to participate in any activities. Somboon Legacy Foundation focuses on observation and education. There is also an interactive museum and an elephant poo paper factory for young and old.
Elephants should NOT be used for our entertainment, we need to respect them and treat them with the care they deserve. Help Somboon Legacy Foundation Thailand and make a difference, let elephants simply be elephants.
